The Riverland is an untouched gem in the South Australian tourism trail. Situated only 2 and a half hours from Adelaide, we are lucky enough to have the best stretches of Murray River in the state.

Most of our residents grow something; from grapes that make wine, to stone fruit that fill the shelves of Coles. We are considered the food-bowl of the country.

Of recent times, the Riverland has really grown. Now home to many fantastic restaurants, wine centers and adventure activities, you can chose to do everything, or nothing, during your stay.

While in the Riverland, be sure to tick off a couple of the ’must visit places below’ and be sure to tag us in your social media posts!

  • Sit by the water on the grass and read a good book

  • Go for a kayak through the creeks to the sandbar for a swim

  • Walk to the clifftop to watch the sunset (I’m never up early enough for sunrise)
